I disagree with them watching the secondary market though. I do think they hop in when they can make cash, BUT I'm fine with that. I've always been the type of person that thinks along the lines of "go ahead and rerelease the DOOM PF, sure, make a million!" lol
I know that's blasphemy to a lot of people, but if somebody can get what they're after without paying a mortgage payment for it, great!
I do agree that there are different cultures, their company culture is different, and the collecting community culture is different too.

Yeah I agree.. but what I mean is like, though of course they do it for a profit, they also kind of look at what is the 'trend' or the latest 'fad' you know? I don't know alot about their culture, but just bits I've picked up here and there.. and IM is a hot property in asia, they love robots/mech etc
As much as I like to save money from HT doing this, I'm glad sideshow hasn't gone this route (but as we said - different culture. sideshow knows how to deal with collectability and knows that would kill them)

The thing that will make me ROFL is when they release the complete iron man "box set" with marks I-IX (by then IM3 will be out) with slightly improved and linking bases version (and by then all the HT fans will be desnsitised to how much money they spend - of course it will also come with Tony Stark suit version so it's O.K. )
(just joking )
