Big questions:
1 How are you gonna make any of your money back on that?
2 What the hell do you do with an island?
3 What game is this in?
4 Once I find out the reply to #3, Can my guy invade this island kill the owner and take over? What's stopping me, it's a game.
5 If not can I become a squater?
6 Do you think it will help his chances with the ladies to tell them he owns his own island and castle. Fat 40 year old virgins will swoom over him.
7 Where the hell did he get $26,000 to blow on a Virtual Island?
8 What happends when the game closes?

Okay now I'm interested in seeing what people do with these things.
So I started to search and found these auctions on ebay.

People are out of their MINDS! At least if I buy a Chrome Surfer bust for $600, 10 years from now that bust will still be around (even if I didn't have it any longer). But COME ON!
These people have NO social lives, TOO much money, and NEED TO GET OUT MORE!

I had one client and I was working on this pig's computer and to asked her how her weekend was. She went into this WHOLE story about how she is a baker and made a cake for a friends birthday and 30 people were there and everyone had a great time.
I found out later on that it was in the game EVERQUEST! These AC's get together for a BIRTHDAY PARTY IN A GAME! Are you THAT sad that your only real friends are orc's, Wizards, elves, and maybe a Paladin! HOLY ****!!!!!
I may spend a lot of time with my collectibles, and on here, but I'm gonna run around bragging that I just spent the price of a CAR on an island that I'LL NEVER SEE.

I think the addage that a fool and their money will be soon parted applies here.

I think if some gamer dork had $26,000 to blow on something imaginary, He might have just as well gotten a make over, that way he could GET A LIFE.

Maybe this guy is rich in which case that`s not a lot of money.

Everyone has something wrong with them. People's dysfunctions break down into two groups.

1. How many syllables does the malady have?

2. How much medication does it take to correct it.

Seriously, there are some very very messed up people in the world. I know I'm one of them, but at least all of my friends and enemies are real, not virtual, and are all within a day's drive if I need to visit, or wreak my unholy vengeance upon them.

These people who are addicted to chat rooms, virtual online crap, they have all kinds of issues. Oh crap... I spend a lot of time on this forum too... Suddenly, I feel like a hypocrite...
