Generally, I've liked Bay's films, well except for Pearl Harbor.

I didn't go in expecting anything more than to be entertained, but after about the 30 minute mark, the film felt flat. Maybe I'll see it again on a cheap ticket one afternoon seeing as how people seem to be reacting to it much more favorably than I am.

Maybe I missed something, or maybe all you people are contributing to the downfall of intelligent movie making.

Just got back from the 8:30 show and it was the single best movie experience i have had this year. If you are anything of a transformer fan, you will enjoy this movie. One thing i missed though, we left the theater during the credits right after the mom said the new person had a big head. I know there was at least one more little clip in the credits cause we heard it, but couldnt run back in time, can someone who has seen it fill me in on what happened?

Thanks JB,

Spoilers Ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a feeling it had something to do with Starscream, as he and barricade were the only Decepticons not destroyed on screen.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I agree with Tet, this movie was way BAD. Its all flash, no substance. Actually, the worst part about this movie is the script. Worst-written movie I've seen in YEARS, no exaggeration. Every single line in the movie is literally a joke of some sort, and it got old for me really fast. There was about a 20 minute span (the final battle) that I thought was really well done and very entertaining, and Starscream's "dog-fight" with the other jet fighters was one of the cooler movie scenes I can remember, but everything else was pretty pitiful. Just very hokey... I wouldn't even compliment this film by calling it campy.

I give it a 3 out of 4.

I enjoyed it but there were a few things keeping it from being a 4.

First of all there was way too much human screentime than Transformers and the constant jokes started getting played out. Although some people will enjoy that. Secondly, a lot of the fight scenes were filmed way too tightly to the point where u weren't sure exactly what was going on. The overly-detailed robot designs didnt help in these scenes either. Thirdly, quite a few of the lines were just plain corny. I started thinking that maybe Lucas had written some of these lines.

However, once the Autobots started interacting with each other, the movie finally started to show the charm of "Transformers". There were some hokey parts but in particular I enjoyed Prime's interaction with Ironhide. Even though I said some of the fight scenes were filmed a little too tight, the battles & in particular the last one still rocked!

I would post a lot more but then I'd get into spoiler territory.

I LOVED IT!!!!!

Way better than I expected.

I was a huge first generation fan in the 80s and this movie was great.

Yes, some boring, forced comedy scenes that lasted forever but the battle sequences were INCREDIBLE and lasted a very long time.

Best movie since Batman Begins for me.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way better than Spidey 3.
