From a presentation standpoint the painted version looks so nice on these I wouldn't think the chrome adds anything. It's just a collector exclusivity piece I guess.

It may have been a speculative thread, but I thought the single chrome HH Surfer was supposed to be #48 (or possibly #49) to represent his first appearance in Fantastic Four #48.

A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.

I'd really like to contact that guy to find out but it looks like there is no way to find out unless you contact the seller and he decides to give you the id of the person who asked him.

It would be nice if HH could give us a little more insight on this piece.

I know this pops up from time to time. I had always thought that the 13 were in the regular run so an auto'd AP would count as one of the 12 signed. I definitely would like to see the chrome version.

At the least I would like to hear some official word from Rob or Seth as to the existence of these chase pieces in the SS run so we would know for sure one way or the other.

I have the only Chrome Silver Surfer. Didn't you see my thread a while ago with the pics of it?

JOkING JOKING! I don't think there is a chrome Surfer. As others have stated, the painted statue looks so good there is never a need for a chrome version.

Please allow me to clear this up.
YES, there is ONE chrome Surfer out there somewhere.
It's number 48 to coincide with the Surfer's first app. in FF #48.
Only myself, the factory and the rep at Gamas knew which number was the chrome. I didn't even tell our warehouse guys who do our shipping.
I've heard nothing about anyone having it. So I don't know where the thing is either.

Thanks Rob, I really appreciate you clearing this up.

Now if we can just find the person who has it so we can see some pics or so I can get them to send it to me
