The resin pimp is kind of right. DC's doing good girl busts of their sexist female characters. Not necessarily a bad thing but they are out of scale with my mostly BD & DST collection. This is nice but small.

Agreed 100%. This is the best line DC has produced to date. Completely original in design.

Im pretty sure they are out of scale with BD and DST because they are not made by BD and DST. While we would all like the standard to be bowen scale, not everyone is going to produce busts in that size. So far I think the women of the dcu have been really nice, even with the smaller scale.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

My thing is price point for what you're getting. You're paying more for less. I'd love to see more DC busts & statues but I'm not giving them $45.00 for 1/2 of what everybody else is doing nor will I give them $195 for a 9 inch statue. Their well done but unfortunately small...

Okay .. lets clear the air, is this piece sculpted well .. yes it is.

Is it designed well ... HELL NO ... this entire line is making the DC women look like a bunch of cheap tart pin up dolls ... if cheap T&A is your looking for, hey this is definately the line for you.

BUT, if you're looking for a line that represents the characters as they should be represented ... and you actually think that this line does that, you're doing your thinking with the wrong head. :tounge:

And more importantly your paying 45 bucks for somthing that should be 25 TOPS!

I don't think it's 'cheap T&A', but I agree that this is a pin-up line more than anything else. That is what Adam Hughes artwork is like, so I think they are succeeding in their goal with these.

Are they accurate to their comic look/characterization? Nope. DC hasn't done a line of busts like that, and probably never will. It seems there would be an audience for a series of DC busts faithful to the comics

Someone's representing comic book women with cheap T&A?!? Oh, say it isn't so! Goodness gracious...the next thing we'll hear is that comic book women are being drawn wearing next to nothing!
