Took the kids this morning! LARGE turnout in this little town hobby shop that also sells comics! Got about 10 books in all.
Man, I didnt expect that art on Runaways/X-Men to be like that!
Didnt have the heroclix thing there though......

Wow $3.39 for a gallon of gas to pick up Worthless reprinted comics. Free comic book day has been going on for what 4 years now. I have never once went, because to me if I wouldn't pay for it, I sure don't want it for free. It seems like a good promotion though it gets people in the store and hopefully they buy something. It just does not make sense to me to go on a Saturday just to get a free $3 that you didn't want anyway. I guess you can say it's a family thing but can't you take your kids to a comic store any day of the week and buy them a comic?
