The fact is this Ame Comi line is total crap.
whatever artists they hired to design and sculpt probably had very limited experience with animes and definitely have no idea what a good anime style looks like.

The illustration on the package is to the point of laughable.

While on the other hand Koto actually hired a reputable artist in the field and good anime sculptors.

Shame on DC and I don't know why this line still exist, it's just bad.

This Hawkgirl doesn't look as bad as some others but still cannot be considered good.

Good luck with those who like this line.

that's just... uh.... like your opinion man!

I think it looks cool, and I like the liberties they've taken with the character. Haven't seen it in person, but I'm sure to check it out at Forbiddin Planet any time soon.

IMO

I like the line, but for what you get the price is just too high. To me, they are action figures...action figures shouldnt cost over $20.

I wish that's just my opinion...

I hate to repeat myself but with plenty of anime/manga exposure I know what I'm looking for. Some costume designs actually look interesting but with the amateur concept arts and sub-par sculpts, I do not see how one can relate this line of ugliness with anime, with some stupid stereotypical features probably, like the big eyes and fake-looking boobs.
It's just sad to see how DC can only incorporate artists who can only percieve the superficial side of a style.

True it can just be my opinion, go on and ignore it if you want and convinve youself this is a cool line that's worth buying, it's your money.

And this is another downside of this line, it simply doesn't worth the price, not even a fraction of it's retail.
