Personally I don't think GoTG would ever have been made. We might have had one Cap and Thor movie certainly not a trilogy for each character. Marvel have Daredevil back, and I cannot see him being on the silver screen anytime soon yet a movie set in the 70's with similar style to Winter Soldier would be fantastic. With the amount of stories from Spidey and Xmen alone the other characters would most likely end up on the back burner. I can already see it with Iron Man with no new solo movie announced. The proposed Strange and Black Panther would further struggle to be made. As long as Sony produce solid Spider-man movies and Fox X-men I think most fans will be happy to see them with the respective studios. I do think there is a possibility for FF reverting to Marvel and in turn Silver Surfer which would be great for Infinity.

Warner has all the DC properties under one roof, yet I believe they'd be happy enough just to have Batman and Superman.

i'd rather have less movies as long as they were quality movies, rather then the turd bomb comic book movies that fox produces, even if I had to wait an additional couple of years or whatever the case is for marvel to do them. Although after Iron man 3 I dont really have faith in marvel studios either anymore, but they are still better then fox

It's exactly what is happening with WB, they own all DC properties and only the cream of the top tier characters are getting the big screen treatment for now.

I agree, you can't do a Infinity Guantlet movie without the FF, X-men, Silver Surfer and Dr Doom. How awesome would it be to have all of these guys with the Avengers squaring off against Thanos.

I mentioned IM3 sucked in my very same post, IM2 I think was decent, like 6.5/10 but IM3 was so bad i'd almost take the Elektra movie over it

But just think of the glorious "team-up" type movies Marvel Studios could have w/ characters w/o breaking the bank. Spiderman could guest-star in a Captain America film, helping out in a fight. Or a Hulk movie could open w/ a FF fight as the boom-opening, then coast on into a main Hulk story. Marvel studios, using any character that wears a mask & is established, could get any stuntman to sport the costume for a scene or two, afoiding the multi-mill $ salaries to an established actor(s). Marvel Studios wouldn't have to use every character in their own film. They could round-robin characters in each other's movies, satisfying the desire of an audience to see their favorite on screen. I would love to see all Marvel characters living under the same roof. Having the Avengers exist in a U that doesn't, at least, contain Spiderman & The FF, has always bugged the hell out of me. It's like knowing you have cereal ... but no milk.

one reason marvel comics took off so well in the 60's was because of all the heroes being able to interact, they were all mainly in new york which made for interesting teamups, I think they are doing their best to reflect this in the movies where they can, but like protector said if they had the rights to all their characters they could really do a lot with the teamups, and cameo appearances which would really be unprecidented in comic book movies, like it was in the comics before marvel came around (more or less)
