So the 16th has come and gone (in New Zealand anyway) and no announcement other than a line of Prince Caspian collectables. What gives?

Well the details about what's going to released is here.
Apparently, it's going to be:
"The Weta Collectibles line will incorporate key moments from Doctor Who. The initial series will consist of four pieces, all of which capture a nostalgic scene from the series. Each piece will be made at 6th scale and made out of high quality polystone."
No mention of whether it's going to be from the classic series or the new one, and there's no pictures at the minute. They'll be at SDCC, so anyone who's going, post some pics!

Lockford, all I know is that that Product Enterprises did produce a number of statues in that line a while back. I'm not sure how many of the nine Doctors were produced, and I don't know anything about edition sizes or sculptors.
Nice statue though.

Nice! I can't wait to see these things. I'm personally just a fan of Doctors Nine and Ten, but that's only due to lack of exposure to the previous ones. Here's hoping for some awesome Dalek and Cyberman pieces. I also really hope they make a statue with Rose... Maybe something from "The Parting of Ways." A statue of the Ood would be pretty cool as well.

I've just noticed that the Weta site is using both the new and classic series logos. Maybe what's unveiled will be from a mix of both eras of the show.
