Will they have to use CGI? When you think about it, how does Iron Man's suit bend? It would have to be flexible metal. Doing the special effects for this would be like doing the effects for Colossus and Iceman.

I don't know how he protects the joints, per se, but I always imagined that it was that accordianed tubing or some such. But yeah, if his suit becomes an internally-integrous life support system in space, it can't have simple joints like that. Maybe it generates a force-field?

Me too. I'm not going to sweat the science of it all...but the article in the latest Wizard Summer Movie edition made me think that they're putting a lot of thought into it! I was pleasantly surprised.
