GW is one of the few TSR games from that era that I don't have. One of my friends had it. Great game--lots of fun.

I wish I could play games again. But the length of the campaigns are just too long. The wife would kill me.

Same here. I still play D&D with my friends once or twice a year, when we can all get together, but it's tough.

Yeah, but you know how it is. Sometimes it can take two hours just to figure out how you're gonna sneak into a room!

Totally true! Last year, my freinds and I were playing, and we literally got through one room. One room. Six hours. Sad.

i love AD&D . to bad the online version sucks so bad. they used there own world instead of greyhawk. its not as much fun but they dont wanna have to share the royalties with others i guess. also like all online games people just want to run around and kill and in d&d you cant do that and get all the expierience points you need to get so people ***** that they dont get enough reward. could be a cool game but you have to dungeon crawl and online people dont do that.

I played D&D occasionally, but the one my friends and I played all the time for like three years was Marvel Super Heroes. We all had the basic game and then we got the revised, and then we got the revised, revised. We also had the DC game, but the gaming system wasn't as easy to understand so we spent hours trying to figure out how to translate the numbers to TSR's version. I still have the Marvel one but no one around here to play it with. There's actually a site now that makes up stats for current Marvel characters as well as DC characters. You guys might like it.
