I loved it!
A little bit of everything!
Also a little too stylized and too much blood! I mean you hit the guy on the hit and splat!!
But the women and story makes me want to watch it again!
So far so good...

first episode was ok, the terrible blood effects and slow-mo every other swing got old fast, but i'll give it another few weeks to see if it hooks me

I watched the first episode tonight and loved every bit of it. I love the style and don't mind the extreme amounts of cgi blood.

i dislike the slow motion, and blood splashes. It got old very fast. I wonder if there going to show where he helps the slaves, once he escapes. My guess is that there just going to focus on the gladiator part.

I'm guessing it all depends on how long the show lasts. Right now they want to keep the audiences attention with plenty of action and naked women.

streamed it on netflix. It was crap. Seemed to be relying on nudity, very coarse language, and tons of 300-esque CGI slow motion blood splatter far too much.....Infact, thats all it really was. I was actually laughing at how bad some of that CGI violence looked. Worse than a videogame.
Again, crap
