when I think of xmen FIRST CLASS the ***last*** person I think of is Emma freakin Frost, she should not be in this movie in any way shape or form...but it is fox, so storyline ruination should be a given by now

I agree Emma has nothing to do with First Class but she is far from ugly and would probably do OK. I see her not being able to be Bad-Word-Bad-Word-Bad-Word-Bad-Word-Bad-Word-y enough though and she reminds me of Rebecca Romijn.

What indeed. I'm sick and tired of film makers doing whatever they want with these properties.....
Everyone should start boycotting these stupid movies, so they don't make a dime. Oh, wait... then they'd blame it on the characters, and say that nobody cares about them, then they'd stop making these types of movies.... stupid idiots......

The problem is hard core comic fans probably have very little impact on the bottom line. I think one of the best examples was Battlestar Galactica. The hard core fans signed petitions, raise money for a full page ad in a Hollywood trade journal, got support from the original cast and protested the Moore series because they wanted a canon accurate continuation. The studios ignored them and the new series went on to be fairly successful.
