as for that sentinel, i've actually held off buying the bowen version, in case it would be revisited. with your sentinel line/danger room, this would be an appropriate fit and an immediate buy for me.
in my opinion, as a marketing director, this could be more effective as an "option." koto is diving into new territory dominated by SS and Bowen, and the company's goal is to be competitive, but their bulk client base is international (anime products). a great goal would be to appeal to the comic and anime culture as well as the casual collector and i think this sentinel might be the one to bridge the gap. now this might sound like a gimmick, but what if the danger room line contains pieces of a sentinel (not the base, of course), that if collected can form a 24-30 inch sentinel (new generation of course). it's been done with the marvel toy figure, mcfarlane's metal gear solid 2 line, but to do it in this capacity would be spectacular. it would bring additional anticipation to every new figure released, and it would give collectors both new and old, that childhood sensation of completing/building a sculpture. and this could only work with the sentinel figure. and you know how the east love their robots (i.e. gundams, i mean they built a life version).
i would only suggest this to erick and to koto just because from all the threads regarding new releases and products, their actually having a great time and have complete control of the process. definitely a great job both in sculpting and customer relations. two important equations for a successful venture.
