That's what I'm doing.
I don't want to spend the $ for the CM only to find out Sideshow makes one I like more. Then have to turn around and sell the CM.

Sideshow said they have one in the works. That was last year I believe. So, it shouldn't be too long before we get a sneak. I'm thinking Spooktacular.

Late to the discussion but figured I'd chime in. The CM Alien is a masterpiece. Its actually my second favorite piece in my entire collection right behind the CM Predator. I highly recommend it to any Alien fan that can afford it. Looks great next to the CM Predator as you can see from the pics above AND Sideshow's Alien3 Dog Alien since that piece is actually 1/3 scale too.

As far as a direct comparison to Sideshow's Warrior Maquette goes it blows it away and I LOVE my Warrior.

Thanks for the info, i've made a move on the CM Alien and if I can sort a deal I should have it next week.

My Sideshow Marvel collection is going to make way for these 3 bad boys.

Now it's just a case of finding the T800 and Predator.

I have both the CM Alien and the SS Dog Alien Maquette. Personally the CM Alien trumps the dog alien in terms of presence and sheer size. It truly is a masterpiece and the base is personally signed by Giger himself. The CM Alien has also more detail compared to SS' Dog Alien.

SS' Dog Alien on the other hand is nearly 1/3 in size and has a terrific, aggressive pose. Both these statues complement each other well but if you had to choose only one, I'd say go for the CM Alien. You pay for what you get and I really don't see any other company topping the CM Alien. Heck, the CM alien is even displayed in the Giger museum.

On the CM topic (and not to hijack DT's thread) does anyone here have the CM Terminatrix . . . was looking at a recent thread on the freaks board and it really looks amazing.
