I'm a Comic Book format guy.
I rarely buy a TP or HC and when I do, is in my LCS.

Risingstar - Yes MTL stands for Montreal
Some of you guys get a great discounts from your lcs. I get 10% wich is not that bad I guess. I have nothing to say against them they truly are great.
Still when I pay a hardcover 32$ at my lcs...get home and see it at amazon for 23$ I go
Thats a major difference !! If I can save 10$ each week on comics...thats 40$ a month that I can put on other comics, statues or in my pockets

i love going into my LCS but i dont buy from anyone other then the owner who i've known for years and always gives me great deals. the other employees aren't very friendly to anyone outside of their clique so if i see them i walk right back out.
lately i've been buying trades and hardcovers from Amazon. I also wait until Cons and grab them for half to less then half off of the cover prices.

I order my books from Mailordercomics.com and sometimes DCBS.com. There are no LCS near me anymore.

As much as I'd like supporting the LCS, I'm loyal to getting the most out of my money......

I moved from Cali to Texas, and still had my lcs pull and ship to me, it is getting to the point where after 4 mo it becomes a $100-$150 bill, which I don't like, so I just told them recently to stop. I only get the G.I. Joe comics nowadays, I used to get the tpb for ult spidey but my comic love has been getting pushed aside. I stil want to pick up some key issues, but no real rush until I get lots of $$ to burn.

I love my LCS - but I love seeking out the best deals. I will buy from the LCS when they have sales that are worth it - but mostly it's ebay and amazon
