Friends told me that you have to start it and pause it to get more of the stream to load (like YouTube), but I haven't tried that yet.
Usually what I do is play it until it stalls, then I crank it back 5 mins and re-watch what I just saw. That usually suffices.

Oddly, though my Samsung tv and BR player have this ability, I rarely use it. I always stream on my iPad to watch movies from Netflix. Weird I know, but it always streams really well to the iPad

I stream Netflix from both an Ipad and an Insignia (Best Buy private label) BD player and have had no problems.
While we are potty training our granddaughter, I let her use my Ipad while "doing her business". She watches her favorite cartoons from Netflix, until we get the infamous two words we are waiting to hear!
I pooped! LOL

Yay! Congrats on the successful pooping!
And I agree - the iPad is a great distraction for the potty training. Some good apps for that as well
Man this thread got derailed lol

Bumpity bump bump.
There is a ton of Star Trek goodness streaming now. All of TNG, Voyager, Enterprise & The original are available for streaming. I know this thread is for movies, but I thought this was cool. Hundreds of hours of viewing. I've been checking out TNG all week, since I don't own it for some reason.

Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann (1982), it doesn't seem to be available on DVD but Netflix has it for streaming.
It's basically about a motocross rider who accidentally goes back in time to the old west and has to fend off outlaws who are out to get their hands on his bike.
