You have some GREAT pieces there man. I understand your disappointment. Heck, I had one main artist as my goal and got on his list. I got my sketch, and I still can't believe how much I paid for the damn thing. It's a nice pencil sketch, but it's nothing like I was hoping it would be or like it should have been for the price he was asking.

There are two great tragedies in life. One is not getting what you want, the other is getting it.
Sorry about not getting on Cliff's list. Looks like you got some great artwork though.

As to the list issue, it is definitely was Sam mentioned. Dealers or fake dealers like Comic Monster who get in early. I was the 2nd person in line on Friday (yes, I have issues) and I went immediately to Skottie Young's table and when I got there, there were already 7 names before me. Pisses me off to no end.

Great haul. Sorry to hear about you missing out on your targets. I've been trying to get a Sook for years and was next on the list at the last con I went to but he ran out of time.

I didn't even bother trying with Sook but I heard that he was charging $50 per sketch and it depended on how he felt as to what he did. It may be a head shot, a bust, or a full blown figure.

Wow.. Love the Union Jack piece! Great haul!

Really like the prints you got for your daughters too

Sorry to hear about you not getting your top two targets. Question: would he have finished it and mailed it to you, or did you not want to go with that option?

From what he told me, that wasn't an option.
