I don't want to rain on the parade here, as obviously customs (taxes) suck. Keep in mind everyone, if this is successful, and more companies follow suit, and customs notices they are taking in less money, you can be sure Customs Offices will reclassify categories or adjust fees. If there's one thing governments want, it's more money. There will likely be a honeymoon period for this development, just like there was previously. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Everyone might want to treat this like the XM importing "situation". Hush hush.

The full code for this is
9703000000
This has been THE topic of today's conversations across the forums and groups. Sideshows CS confirmed this for me as well.

How can we get this changed for Canadian residents?
Please Jerry make those changes

Well, considering you treat these like savings accounts, just consider it "fine print" on your bank statement, my friend.

I think some people are confounding taxes and customs / duty. For example in Germany you have to pay 19% taxes and (I think) 6% customs. What you definitely have to pay are the 19% taxes regardless what "code" PCS will be using. This code only affects the customs.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

No it does not. Maybe for Germany. In Ireland it lowers the VAT to 13.5 and duty to 0%. Can confirm, got a FedEx invoice for last PF I bought from Sideshow
