If you were planning on getting the entire line up, I have no idea why you'd get the red version of this as it is way too similar to the Red Death.
They look great by the way but I don't have the space for these characters.

maybe the additional sales will help float this line of niche characters? although, really who would want to spend $1000+ on a color variant of a niche character that will command a decent amount of space?
in regards to the statue - as far as throne statues go it looks very good. my one critique aside from being tired of characters sitting on thrones is the only right hand option appears to be him holding the carving(?) of diana while hes wearing the helmet. a relaxed right hand would have been more powerful imo

Wow. This is cool. I like the presence but prefer the blue version. The tablet in hand is a great concept.

He is in the comics, its "The Return of -52 Barry Allen". You can read it under point 3/10 here.
"While the Dark Knights' were enacting their plan to infect the World Forge with darkness, The Red Death was exposed to a burst of positive energy. This positive energy had a two-fold effect; it changed his appearance, but, more importantly, gave control of the body to -52 Barry Allen. This Barry Allen was utterly crushed by what -52 Batman/Red Death had done with the powers they'd stolen from Barry, and did what he could to help The Flash stop the Dark Knights."
