Truth be told there is no "best" line for Star Wars. GG, Attakus, SS, MR are all making awesome SW pieces. Most serious SW collections are going to have pieces from all of the lines.

For busts, you don't have any option other than the GG ones.
For statues, I collect the Sideshow 1/4's, the GG dioramas, and I may pick up a few Attakus statues later this year. They are all very nice.
Master Replicas is by far the best for props. I have their AT-AT SE and I owned the Luke Ep. IV EE saber, but someone offered me $1,400 for my #6/1000 so I sold it. I'm really into their new helmets and I have all of them on order. I plan to buy several of their Studio Scale vehicles. I'll probably go back and pick up 2 or 3 sabers for my collection later this year.
Of course, SS's 1:1 Maul bust is nice (I'm getting one), and the GG 1:1 Yoda is great too (I'll probably get one). So much great stuff to choose from.
SW is probably the best represented of any property in terms of the sheer number of collectibles available. There is TONS of stuff out there to choose from for your tastes/budget.

Yeah, you really can't go wrong with any of these.
For the lower budgets, kotobukiya is a nice option too.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

The best lines for Star Wars IMO are these:
"Now what's a pretty thing like you doing in a wretched hive of scum and villainy like this?"
"Hey baby, wanna see how fast I can take you through the Kessel run?"
"You are definitely the droid I'm looking for."
and let's not forget Lando's finest:
"Ah, you truly belong among the clouds."
These are especially effective at conventions when the person you are hitting on is very desperate, heavily inebriated or otherwise under the influence of some type of ... eh? Ooh...this is about collectibles lines. Ahem...sorry, my bad. Move along, move along.

I think the best line in Star Wars is "Luke, I am your father"

So far, I have all the ships, and I currently have Vader's TIE Advanced preordered. Yeah, these are some amazing pieces, and, IMO, are awesome additions to any collection. There are some great pics posted on this forum, and I also have a few pics of'em on my site here: Mini Rock's Lounge
