Eh...the bump in scale just isn't going to be enough for me to upgrade from the original Obi-wan Mythos.
I was so hoping for a new character. Thrawn, Revan, etc.

Agreed, this is where some mixed media elements could really shine. I got one of those late run Obi-Wan's from the first series and it had a wicked lean the earlier run didnt have. Loved the piece but was nervous about its longevty. If this is the start of a new line of Mythos it might be worth jumping in again.

Well I definitely didn't expect this so soon and especially not in 1/4. I was not a fan of the last few Obi-Wans but if I like this one more than those then it'll be a definite day one for me.
Obi-Wan is my favorite SW character and one of my favorite fictional characters in general but I just haven't found THE piece yet for my collection. I'm not primarily a SW collector so really just need that one special Obi-Wan. Hopefully this is it.

I already have 1/5 Mythos Obi-Wan... and i think the value of my 1/5 will plummet with the excistance of this new 1/4 version... And i am not happy about this. And i don't like to be forced into getting the new version by making the old version obsolute. This will effect my desicion to get anything smaller than 1/4 in the future.

Definitely. This was one of the few things SS ever did in 1/5 that really took off as far as value and collectability. 1/4 has always been the preferred scale. I had the original Mythos Vader and just hated how he looked with my 1/4 pieces and didnt display well like that so I sold him, Obi and Maul. They netted a nice return, and I have seen Maul/Vader for less than I sold for and thought about jumping back in, but not if they are abandoning 1/5 for the preferred 1/4. I would feel pretty sour if I was collecting the 1/5 though.
