What a coincidence, today I sent this same picture to two friends here asking about it. I'm moving this year and I want to buy some of these to place some of my statues. Makes a really nice, classy and clean display.

I think I'll pick some up as well. They are cheap and they look very nice. The doors look good too. Great find Monster!

After seeing these I am really glad I left my Billy Bookcases with the wood framed glass doors at my old house.

Yeah those wood frames on the doors absolutely kill what otherwise would be a very good display case. I wonder if these docent cases also have available glass shelves. I think glass shelves would just kill here. I am also trying to to see which case this is on the link KK provides. It looks like the big unit with the bottom two drawers removed and replaced with shelves and glass doors but that would bring it close to $500.

Zurb, it looks like it's the $59.99 one. When you're on that then click the size selection option and you'll see the $110 version(largest size).

Got it, thanks! So it likes like with the glass doors it's about $230. Add another $50 for the lighting and I say we are looking at $280 for each unit. Still a great price when you compare it to other display options. I am really liking these. Too bad glass shelves are not an option. I guess those can be made to order from a glass place but that will drive the price up considerably. I also wish they had a few other color options like black or silver.

Yeah, I think this looks good also.
Here is the lighting he is using:

I recently bought 2 Detolfs, and painted the wood on them black. It looks MUCH better that way, IMO.
Anybody have these lights in their Detolfs? Are they too hot for statues/props?

I might pick up a few of these Docents, and get a few more black Detolfs to accent them.
The only thing I don't like about the Docents are the handles on the glass doors. I wonder if I could remove them and use something else? They are way too modern/trendy for my taste, and don't go well at all with my existing furniture.
