The Clone Wars busts are definitely bust ups in one of the pics one of the busts is raised up by sitting it on top of a bust ups box.
I don't see any evidence that the Rancor's arms come off in any pics.
Man I just decided to make GG Star Wars stuff the newest addition to the collection, then I see all this. Happy and sad at the same time--if only I had a money tree!

Maybe thats how ILM originally made it and since GG scans the stuff from them it came through to the statue? I dunno...

I think you're right , just found this movie's pic which has exactly the same legs and arms attachments, maybe it was required to do the animatronics moves, but GG could have improved over the original monster:

To be honest, I like the fact that they kept it. I would rather have something straight out of the film rather than a stylized version of it.
