I just saw the trailer for MGS4 & you know what???

I think I saw Doc Ock & the Vulture in it....

could Spidey be in there too????

Now I do have a bit of a bias against Sony but out of that list, the only game I'd want to get is Ratchet & Clank... (what's Uncharted though, never heard of it).

Microsoft has a tiny exclusive list this year and they know it, they really dont need anything to release this year because they have Halo.

PS3 is owning in terms of the eclusives right now.

as for next year
360 hasn’t even bothered announcing anything there exclusive list is slacking right now, All they have in terms of AA\AAA titles like the previous

2008 is the year of the ps3

PS3 has a bigger exclusive list but its gonna take more then that to topple the Halo 3 giant, also mass effect looks equally as good if not better then all the PS3 exclusive's this year. However I am rooting for Sony this year because I want the system to sell more than it is now, plus i prefer games like heavenly sword\uncharted and Lair then fps like Halo.

Out of all of those PS3 "exclusives" (you never know these days.... MSG was supposed to be exclusive, and look what happened there) I only wanna play GT5 and maybe Killzone 2(never played the first one, so may pass and i'll play MSG on 360 ) but there is no way i'm paying £400 for a console for 2 games. Its just not worth it.

The 360 has far more games coming out that i want to play and possibly more on the Wii (depending when they come out)

The PS3 so far isn't doing anything but making me happy i bought a 360

the last time they asked they pushed the fact that it is only gonna be a ps3 exclusive

and then theres a rumor that another company is gonna make the port on there own
IGN editors are of the opinion that thats not happening either

People keep starting rumors that MGS4 is gonna be on 360 because MGS2 was ported to XBOX a year after initial release date. If MGS4 is on xbox it'l be 6months to a year after launch no sooner, IMO that is.

It makes good sense for Kojima to release for both machines, even if it is a 6 month gap. It'll still sell well on 360.

Wasn't there a version of MGS3 released on another console?

mgs3 was only on ps2
they remade MGS1 for the gamecube with better graphics and called it MGS Twin Snakes

I doubt itl come out for xbox because everyone is saying a 3rd party company has to step in to make the port,
that doesnt sound like something that is revenue friendly for Konami.

Releasing it as an exclusive to the console with the lowest install base isn't revenue friendly either.

I will buy a ps3 just to play this and support Kojima's claim that he will single handedly win the next gen war, but thats because I am stupid enough to shell out $600 for one game, alot of people wont, not for MGS.

But I think Halo, even though I am not a fan, is going to destroy sales this year, and then that lightbulb will go off in Kojima's head and he will want his final MGS installment to make tons of money.
