I used to have the SS. Sold to preorder the CM, and also because I had the CM TX and Endo and want to display together. After looking at the pix, the CM looks kinda skinny and the head looks kinda big. I guess we'll see. The SS is still a fantastic piece in my book, so you can't go wrong.

Doesn't look as bad in person as it does here but the legs on the SS piece look much better and more accurate to me.

Agree MK Ultra. The very first thing I noticed when I saw it at the Comic Con was the short and thin legs.
The proportions on the Sideshow Predator are better and more accurate.

The angle of the photograph is exagerating this a bit, making the head look even larger and the legs even smaller than they actually are. But the piece overall does kind of look like that, they needed to beef up and lengthen the legs like the SS Maq. Legs are off slightly on the CM, immediately noticed this when I first saw the piece.

I would argue that the CM captures the Predator better as I could immediately identify the exact film moment "captured" when I saw the CM. Not so much with the SS version, which isn't bad, just not in the same class as the CM, in my opinion.

With a purchase price near 2k? I can't imagine anything "skyrocketing" that starts out at that price.
I really like the product, but personally don't have the kind of funds to throw at it right now. The digital read out on the arm band is a great feature. Does it really count down?

I too would be surprised to see this maquette "skyrocket" in value.
