That's some major dust issues. And if that's not dust, is that color faded? If so, major color fade. Lots of chips at various places. Not to mention the rust on the chain. I have the same statue and my chaines have no rust at all. Somebody who owned that statue in the past must have washed the whole statue causeing the chains to rust. And now the rust is eating the paint. Check out the paint on the crotch area. Oh my.

I've got the same...would never part with it ...did yours come with an apology note from Mr. Moore for glueing Timmy to his base?...Apparently you were to have the option to place him closer to Pitt

Not sure you can change all of the chains. Some are removable while others are glued on to the statur originally.

No love for the character, but it could be a really good piece.
I'm not a pro on the topic, but it looks to me as if it was a very good sculpt that turned into a very sloppy molding and came out as the piece this has become.
In addition to the poor molding, the paints are not very good at all.
Maybe get a forum member to do a repaint and it could be much better, but as it is, just gives me the 'meh' feeling.

Wow...that one needs some TLC. You should have someone repaint him.
I love mine, just wish it were bigger.
