DC did something similar a few years back when they had a 3 piece statue of Hal, Kyle, and Alan. The same problem existed on that one, you had to turn the statue around to see the various pieces. And turning it was problematic as the pieces didn't have any "locking" mechanism to hold them in place when turning to view. I quickly sold mine after realizing that flaw.

We DO need some better museum pose statues of the other GL's. The latest GL, where he is holding out the lantern in, what looks to be a locker room, is decent enough.

Looks quite promising. I grow more and more fond of Lantern every day.

I would rather they make a GL & GL Corps line similar to the Batman B&W series.

Call it Green Lantern: Spectrum of Statues

Make statues in the same scale as the B&W ones but feature all the different Lanterns from, Green, Yellow, Red, Blue..etc..

I was considering just picking up the Hal Jordan part of that trilogy, but the fact that the bases were part of a whole and looked so odd displayed individually changed my mind. I wish DC Direct would get off this "build a statue" kick. Their attempt to get you to "buy them all" makes the individual pieces look so obviously incomplete. While this new one features a nice-looking Hal, I have less than zero interest in his friends coming along for the ride.

I actually don't mind the concept, but I'm not sold on some of the character portraits on this...

I agree. The proportions are totally off. Those lanterns they are carrying are gigantic in scale compared to the rest. Looks cheap to me..IMO
