Agreed. Here's a scumbag buyer from a seller's point of view. I sold a stamp to a dude for $35.00. He wrote me and said it wasn't the stamp that I described.

This stamp was certified by a stamp dealer as being the real deal.

Although my listing clearly states "No refunds accepted for this item" I refunded it for fear of feedback retribution.

That is the climate eBay has created for sellers.

Oh, I did. That's when I took it to the stamp dealer.

I'm really scared to sell anything on eBay anymore besides comics.

There has to be an alternative.

There is no alternative unless you want to do Craig's List and personally, I don't want anyone coming to my house to buy something.

I've checked out some of the other auction sites and they don't get anywhere near the amount of traffic eBay does. I think Google is the only one that could possibly take a chunk out of their business if they opened their own auction site. I know I'd join.

yeah but ebay knows they are the only one and thats how they get away with it......when you have a monopoly on something you can write whatever rules you want cause no matter how much people hate you ya know that they have to come to you.

So far the change I hate the most is the ability to leave negative feedback for a buyer. I can't even check to see if I got stuck with a deadbeat bidder and I got stuck with a couple of deadbeats I'd love to neg.
