I've got a Dell desktop and laptop, both new within 6 months. Running Vista on laptop and Windows 7 on desktop. Haven't had any problem with either and I purchased them both for less than $1,000. I don't see any reason to switch.

I've been on PCs for a fair bit of my life. I bought an iBook back in the day because I was using Final Cut Pro a lot around that time. Just never enjoyed OSX.

There are a number of people having issues with windows 7, it is just not getting a lot of publicity. Wish you could still get XP with a new computer.

I've got a few PC's for work and home, but will be buying a MAC in the new year. Really depends on what you want to do with your computer . . . if video editing, music and photo editing are high on the list then definitely get a MAC. I've played around with iLife and it's awesome !!

I've been using a Mac way before it became the fashionable thing to do, and I don't regret it.
I've used PC for work and school but it doesn't compare to Mac.

At least Macs hold their value on ebay.
2006 i bought the MacBook Pro for $2500 and i can get at least $800 on the bay for it now if i needed too.
So its not like you would be wasting money, you get a nice piece of hardware that lasts. Plus you can dual boot into windows and have two computers in one piece of hardware.
