Every piece I've framed I have designed myself using the materials available at my local framers, then they do the actual framing. For me I wouldn't do it any other way. I enjoy adding my personal touch to every piece.

How are you separating the painted elements (cel and paper background) inside the frame so they don't have the possibility of sticking?

Good question but I'm not sure how they're separated because its never been out of it's frame. I bought it that way, then had it re-framed and I didn't have the opportunity to see the inner workings during the transition.

I love BTAS CELs! I have one of them myself too.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, I couldn't help but notice that the CEL wasn't properly reframed correctly (not level to the background). Notice that in the pic, both of Freeze's feet, along with both polar bears' paws are not touching the stairs at all. (It should maybe be an 1/8" lower or so?) They look like they all are floating above the stairs, when they shouldn't be.

Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but you can take a look at it yourself to make sure.

You know what you are absolutely right, can't believe I didn't notice it yet. Going back to the framers. Thanks for pointing it out.

Very cool Scott. I use to have a couple BTAS production cels, one was signed by Kevin Conroy. I had to sell them.
