Mr Brooks
7/10 interesting movie that kept my attention throughout with multiple lines going on with a good finish.

these easily could have been two movies, also the first 10 minutes of the third movie could have been the last 10 of the second (DOS) which would have really increased that movies score.
Yes to the first ten being the last of the second, I get that it's made into a trilogy, but that was an unnecessary cliffhanger that would have made more sense at the end of smaug. I personally enjoyed it more than a 6.5 but to each their own. Battle of five armies was fantastic imo.

Black Mass: 7/10

You really have to be interested in the subject matter to understand or grasp any enjoyment from the movie. Which so happens I do. The acting was pretty darn good, all the actors and actresses did their job. Johnny Depp gave a chilling portrayal of Whitey Bulger. At the end though I felt that everything was rushed. There was too much to be told to fit in the span of 2 hours.

To me it felt like Law and Order, one major event after another. There was no room for the small yet important events in between to fully tell the story. Black Mass might have been better as a mini series on TV.

yeah every movie should feel like a complete stand alone piece, DOS did not. I was just so disappointed with how they ended it when I finished the movie I felt like it was a commercial I had to watch between the other two movies. if they had ended it with the first ten minutes of the third movie I would have given it an 8.5

Maze Runner: Scorch Trials 8/10 not bad for a YA type movie although this one doesn't feel like a YA type movie

Get Hard 5/10 had a few laugh out moments but not as funny as it should have been.

Back to the Future Part III (1990) - Enjoying a peaceable existence in 1885, Doctor Emmet Brown is about to be killed by Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen. Marty McFly travels back in time to save his friend.

Interesting that Marty's paternal great-great-grandmother looked a lot like his mother who was of no blood relation to the McFlys. Hmm. On par with part two for me. 6/10

Scream 4 6.5/10

Not bad, I enjoyed most of it until the ending few sets, that was where I started to question things.
