Regarding picking the male and female paint scheme, maybe I'm just not understanding..are they not producing both busts? I thought they were doing both, female from JP and Male from LW. Are you saying they are just doing one and we get to pick which one it will be? If that's the case I'd vote for Female from JP. It's the more iconic look from the better film.

Which version with the more opened mouth or closed mouth. You choose :-)

So do the Lost World raptors and JP1 raptors share the exact same sculpt in the films? The only difference between the two are the colors/patterns?

That has to be the case if we're allowed to choose the paint scheme for these busts, otherwise people would end up with Lost World-painted JP1 busts and vice versa.

Same exact mold for first two films yes so doesn't make a difference. The eyes however are different paint schemes.

Thanks for clarifying, think the open wide mouth is the best, and I'd want it to have the JP 1 color scheme. In other words I would prefer them as they are now

I'm liking the closed mouth version much more as subtle and natural poses work better for busts, not wide-mouthed roaring poses IMO. That's not to say I don't like the open-mouthed bust though.

I've always preferred the colors & patterns of the Lost World raptors so I'll likely go with that version if I can only afford one.

One thing that's bugging me is that the paint app on the Lost World raptor looks so dry. I'm not saying I want these to be glossy or anything, but living on a rainy, tropical island would create some moisture on your skin, no? The JP1 paint app seems to have some shine, which brings it to life and makes it look more realistic IMO.
