I am starting to like Dancer's face more and more. I love the base concept!
There is probably just enough room to shoot the Octopus, and make an escape.

I paused the video and couldn't clearly tell, but the eyes look really close to close if not fully. Either way, it's not helping the portrait for me.

It's a damn shame because I LOVE the diving theme.

Love both, and love the 3d staircase, I know some people dont, and I respect that, but I think it's totally awesome, and makes me like the piece that much more

I wondered if they used 'whats her name?' at Sideshow during the video?

I would think that's the case, especially with Fastball Special having the removable comic background, would be silly not to have that option with this piece. I'm sure it's a separate piece in terms of engineering, so the question is will they have a piece to fill in the exposed keyhole in the back. I wonder what the depth of Starlet is with the stairs. Won't be buying, but both look pretty good, but my fave is Starlet.

Both look great to me. I wouldn’t mind either one. Dancer has the more dynamic pose. But yea, Starlet does have the slight advantage with her portrait.

I assume the 3D flat stairway detaches and can be left in the box.
I despise the stairs as well. This line was a stretch for me anyways since I mainly collect superheroes but those stairs don't help matters.

I suppose many collectors would go for both as a pair if Dancer had an equally gorgeous looking face.

Unfortunately, with that disappointing portrait, it is as if SSC were asking collectors to choose one over the other.

I must say the portrait of Dancer is a rare failed sculpt of Harbottle. He is usually very good with female portraits. Poor art direction there.
