This is the first piece from the Super Powers line I will not be getting. The price doesn't bother me. It was lower than I thought it would be. I just cannot get past the pose. It seems so un-Darkseid like to me. I just cannot make myself like it. Great sculpt though on the features.

I remember that in latest video Chad saying that the base for Darkseid was very heavy. I thought that the Catwoman base was a very heavy base. I just wonder what the weight of this statue overall will be.

Catwoman's base is very heavy for her size. I was amazed when I was putting the statue together.

I get the dislike for the pose. It doesn’t bother me as much but I would have preferred his hands behind his back. That’s the pose I always picture him in.
The price is a little off putting for me, I’m sure it’s a good size but I’m not sure I will pay that for a 1/6.

I take it you're passing on the XM 1/6 for $800 then.

Darkseid
Hey Guys,
Long time no speak!
Just wanted to address the price and weight of DS. I tried to keep it as close to what we have released in the past ($275) but he is just massive in size and weight. If you saw the video, he is closer to a 1/4 scale piece due to his height.
He is about 20lbs and he and his base are heavy!!
As always we just ask for a $100 deposit...so hopefully this will work for everyone that wants him!!
He's pretty incredible and for the folks that aren't loving the pose...I'm sorry your not happy with it. I just always think of Darkseid in more of a "ready for battle" pose!!

Nice to see you back on the boards.
Do you have a general idea on how much shipping will cost, and more importantly, are you going to start charging sales tax?

Makes sense, he is bigger than rest of the line. I'm setting my expectations a possible Giganta would be about this range as well.

The price makes sense for nowadays' market, but too steep for me. Add in shipping and possibly tax and I think I'll be keeping to just Batman stuff now. If we get a bad ass Lobo or something I might make an exception.
