I think they should hold something back for their show in Sept.

Thor would be just the piece to keep under wraps and blow people away with him in person!

Don't you think he can do whatever he wants to with the gems. He could reconstruct that whole gauntlet if he wanted to.

I understand you were pointing that out (good eye mind you cause I never paid attention to the gem placement...and I own a 1:1 scale IG replica)so don't take this as me scolding you.....but is that really necessary for the artwork?

I assume the gem can be painted correctly during production though.

So.....good eye and attention to detail. I just don't think gem placement is important to me on a print...at least IMO its not.

Lol, well it's not that important to me I'm just pointing it out as feedback that XM can take or leave. Just because Thanos could do what he wants doesnt mean its not worth suggesting if someone sees something they see as needing change. If that were the case then you'd not bother pointing out any issues on the sculpt because technically thanos could bend reality to his liking. just saying.

Not a deal breaker for me in the slightest, I'm just offering it up as a pointer because in near 100% of the pictures you see of the gauntlet, that is where the gems are placed (and maybe there is a good reason for it, you never know!). So if XM want to be consistent with the majority of literature out there then its an easy fix. If not then I'm not really bothered and sure that 99.9% of everyone is else the same.

That said, I've seen the gem names allocated differently depending on where you look which is odd (i'd expect that at least o remain consistent).

If it were me, as a perfectionist, I would change it. Easily done on the artwork and in production.

If they change the sculpt though they should imo most definitely change the print and vice versa to be consistent.

Good catch, Bobfrog. I for one would prefer the gems how they are typically presented. If it wasn't caught/discussed now then the majority would just have to potentially "deal" with it on the statue.

Same thing happened with Magneto's cape. Print showed a red underside (atypical) and the initial render was painted likewise, then they changed it.

The great thing about XM is that they show progress of all kinds early and often.

If you guys are basing alot of comic acurracy, then XM may just do away with the whole "lines" on the gauntlets and shoulder armor
