Man o man ...that second episode was an exciting one. A fun episode to watch.

Bo-Katan was surprised by what she saw in the living waters. She wasn't expecting to see that. Dying to find out what that means.

As long as Disney stay away from legacy main characters, they do all right.

But step one is hiring showrunners that are either excellent detailed storytellers (Tony Gilroy) and/or have demonstrated an extreme love and knowledge for Star Wars (Filoni, Favreau).

Otherwise, you get efforts with only a modest amount of redeemable scenes, or outright train wrecks.

I like this show. It's fun and I'm happy for Star Wars to still have mainstream recognition

But I'll take TLJ over this fan/trend service any day.

You may be the first person I know of that likes TLJ better than The Mandalorian.

They exist. We clearly vastly differ over what we want from Star Wars, movies, storytelling, characters, etc. but different strokes and all that. I'm glad I have Star Wars I love and can excited every Wednesday for it.

I hear you. The worst episode of the Mandalorian is far superior to anything from the last Trilogy...IMHO. There were some good ideas that were executed poorly in the movies and a lot of horrible ideas that should have never made it past the first draft. Some things like SONICobra showed were just downright unforgivable.

I like a lot of the sequel trilogy, but I can't stand that moment where Luke tosses the lightsaber over his back...it also kind of ruins the very end of The Force Awakens, which was such a great emotional scene
