Intermissions slowly die out when theather chains decided to find ways to sell more tickets at the box office. An average intermission is between 10 to 15 minutes. Add these to the time between shows and you can easily have an extra showing before the end of the night. Nowadays, the success of a film is measured by the amount of tickets and not the amount of refreshments sold.
There are still a few theaters doing intermissions here and there, but these are for the most part locally owned and operated.

La la la!!! I'm not listening. Time for me to crawl into an isolation chamber for a week.
It's going to be really dangerous to go on the net when the press gets to see the movie on premiere night.

Things I think you definitely won't hear mentioned in TFA:
5 "clones"
4 "Jar Jar"
3 "laser sword"
2 "pod racing"
1 "midichlorians"

The clones have been used well in other post prequel productions. And the Pod race was a good and well received idea. Jar Jar and midichlorians can suck it though...

It's completely just a guess, but I think the First Order are volunteer based, people who genuinely think the Empire is the way to rule the galaxy. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't hear the word "clone" at all. Yes, of course clones and the clone wars are still canon and all that, but I think the emphasis will be on the "new Empire" being ordinary guys under the helmets.
