Well the MMWs are supposed to be the cream of the crop as far as image quality I?ve heard. I have a few of those to fill in my omnibus gaps. If they ever release the original Ghost Rider omnibus I?ll be in your shoes.

I've heard the Omni's are better. The Omni's are touted as over sized but I'm not so sure the art actually is.

Maybe the printing is slightly higher quality with the masterworks but all this stuff shows as pretty hastily slapped together though of course higher quality than the original media..

Yeah I?ve never really seen a noticeable difference myself. I do like the look of the omnis on my shelf a little more than the MMWs.

I can agree with that statement. I do wish I had the funds to replace my Masterwork's with Omni?s but I do not. (Plus I am still hunting down a few Bowens and would rather divert funds to there)

The Masterworks get the royal treatment when it comes to restoration, and then the Omnis containing the same material that come AFTER a Masterworks has been released use the same restored files.

Paper is still better on the Masterworks, but then there's the smaller size and the lack of readers' letters where applicable.

Yeah I've known they do the restorations for the MasterWorks but didn't know the paper was better.
You notice much of an improvement?

Are the MasterWorks actual art still original comic sized?

Oh, yes. The paper on the Omnis has been depressingly thin and even see-through in many cases for quite a few years now

Yep.
Maybe I'll try the Masterworks for the Dazzler series to see the comparison.

You're a treasure to these boards Shoo!!

Aw, shucks.

But surely there's something better than Dazzler to see for yourself!

I thought Dazzler would be a great choice because the art effects would be very striking to show off the format.
Never read Dazzler but always loved the art.
