Once Upon a Time in the West - 10/10

Sergio Leone's masterpiece! Breathtaking cinematography, beautiful score by Ennio Morricone and brilliant performances from Fonda, Bronson and Robards make this a staple of the Western genre and a timeless classic. This opera of violence is not only one of my absolute favorite films but IMHO the best Western of all time.

I was pleasantly surprised

With this and Edge of Tomorrow Cruise has done pretty well with Sci Fi recently

I watched this movie for the first time in 2014 and it was on a flight across the country. Despite the crappy sound and video on the plane I enjoyed this movie, so much so when the bluray was on sale for $10 on Amazon I bought it. Great movie.

I'm not so much into westerns, but I love this movie.

Deadpool - 6.5/10

This was a fun film and the studio deserves props for sticking with the elements that make this character appealing and opting for the R rating. That said I think the claims of this being one of the best comic book movies ever are grossly exaggerated as a result. Beyond the outlandish character the narrative itself is pretty cliche and although the film does a great job with the budget it had the abundance of CGI isn't the greatest.

Funny thing is that I said the same thing at the "other" forum and I got almost crucified. Nerds don't take objective criticism kindly...I guess.

Joy - 7/10 - I think I'm being a bit generous.
