So I just pulled Poseidon out of a box and held it up next to the Poseidon we got as the prototype piece. And except for a slight darkening on the luster of the shells, belt, and crown they match the prototype.

I see a distinct difference in the colours. I like the steely look but it doesn't look like the prototype.

Ah... The pictures from the website are the hand painted original that we produced here in the studio. The prototype that we received was what the factory sent us for approval before production and it would appear that they decided steel was a better look than gold.
