I reached out to Erick, and he was kind enough to provide a brief update. Basically, the idea of having switch out chest shields - the KC and traditional S - is creating some printing issues such that it would require two separate torso's to accomplish. He will update us all as soon as he can.
My take is this: The traditional shield doesn't align well with this design
IF we choose to paint it in the KC colour scheme, as you'll have the yellow/red shield but with altered costume colours (slightly darker), no yellow "S" on the cape, and a black belt. Furthermore, in the series, he only had the traditional suit on early on, and during that time he had the pony-tail. SO, in the end, if we're going to have swap-out chest shields, then I think it's going to require a swap-out head sculpt with the pony tail, a swap out belt (?), and a cape with the yellow shield on it... of course, this is only if we care to align with the story.
I would certainly pay more to have options, but that's just my opinion to stay true to the storyline.
