Life, Animated (2016) - A coming of age story about a boy and his family who overcame great challenges by turning Disney animated movies into a language to express love, loss, kinship and brotherhood.

Great story. And very nice of Disney to allow usage of clips from many of their movies. I don't recall that happening much in the past. 8/10

Band of the Hand - 6/10

Admittedly this is a bit of a guilty pleasure film for me having grown up in the 80's Miami Vice era and a huge fan of anything Michael Mann touches. Worth checking out if you're a fan of such things as well. Some of the earliest performances I've ever seen from Stephan Lang (complete with jet black hair,) Laurence Fishburne, James Remar and Lauren Holly.

Logan 9/10. A quite brilliant little indie movie.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It has more the feeling of Fox Searchlight than fox. It's very low budget and doesn't rely on cgi and a more intimate story if that makes sense.
