I really do love this movie, I wish they had found a way to edit it better for the theatrical version because without the added content a lot of stuff doesn't make sense. I still hate eisenburg as lex but what ya gonna do

The Wizard Of Lies (2017) on HBO - 6.5/10
Pretty much he fall of Wall Street investor, Bernie Madoff, the movie deals with Madoff's end game, starting with the day he realized his Ponzi Scheme was crashing & burning around him. We see how he built it through a series of flashbacks, but he majority of the film deals with the downfall. I found it fascinating & learned that it was basically his strong reputation as a financial wizard, which itself was a lie, that he was able to live such a wealthy lifestyle & suck in so many investors that were also incredibly wealthy, even though the regular-joe investors were also shown. Amazing performances by De Niro & Michelle Pfeiffer. There is a suicide scene included that I found so disturbing, it really threw me & ended up dominating the final film for me to a fault. It's all I can see when I look back on the movie & really tainted it for me.

Get Out (2017) - It's time for a young African American to meet with his white girlfriend's parents for a weekend in their secluded estate in the woods, but before long, the friendly and polite ambience will give way to a nightmare.
Lots of social commentary in this well done horror film. 8/10

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Alien: Covenant - 7/10 Liked it but was a bit disappointed. Lacks atmosphere and tension.
