really interested to hear what you all think. Hopefully I haven't raised expectations to an unattainable level with all my hype. I'm just a huge fan of the original and really loved this sequel. I'm already thinking about seeing it a second time theatrically and I just don't do that with movies anymore.

Blade Runner 2049 - 10/10
Simply put, this is cinema at it's finest. I just watched it a few hours ago and I am still haunted by the film's story and it's presentation. Hellboy summarized it as perfectly as a non-spoiler review could. It's a perfect continuation of it's predecessor and it will leave you pondering it's themes and ideas long after the credits roll. What a film...

Blade Runner - 8/10.
Great movie, beautiful to look at, amazing effects, and Ryan Gosling was fantastic. Not as great, or pondering, for me as the original but a solid, solid film.

Did you read the books? Or just a fan? I haven't seen this, but read the books, and I'm scared.

Never read the books so I can't judge against them. As far as sci-fi goes it had some interesting concepts but suffered from pacing problems

I haven't read any of the books, but I hated the Dark Tower movie. I think it was one of the worst movies I've seen at the theatre in a long time.
