Thanks for the words of support and sorry for the disappointment...
Size really isn't as much of a factor as much as complexity: she is just very time consuming to make... niche character or not. There are other things that I'm not going to discuss in public...
People now are used to prices dictated by China as well so in a way maybe it was a "recipe for disaster" (as someone put it) but at least I tried unlike many others that don't and simply "wish" that companies put out their favourite characters... I actually made an attempt.
Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't - just the way it is in life and really the only way to learn.
I'd invite anyone to be proactive and give it a go on their own because it really makes you appreciate the amount of work involved for companies to put out the products they do for the fans.
In this society we are too used to instant gratification and easily dismiss what efforts are involved in doing anything new.
I personally learned a lot with the experience and are quite grateful for this. It really opened my eyes to a lot of things and helped realize where I want to go with my art: I have no regrets personally and Jim and Holly are really fantastic people.
Again my apologies to those that were looking forward to her...
