When does this ship to people? I need to see in hand pics to figure out which SS picture shows this monstrosity more accurately.
If I get wind of somebody doing a custom portrait, I might buy this with a coupon and free shipping.

We'll probably see the production piece in San Diego before it gets to collectors.

They clearly see people don't like the new head. reps only shows up when people bash personal at ss. But in times when we all discuss real questions about the statues they are no where to be found sadly. At this point I'm begging P1 to get the marvel license. 1:3 since prices are now equal to many pf's. Imagine a p1 1:3 psylocke with many switch outs! probably less than 1:4 hulk and juggernaut lol

Yeah a brief explanation would’ve been nice instead of leaving everyone in the dark. To be fair though SSAlex did atleast chime in on the matter.

On the subject of portraits, i exchanged some emails sometime ago with the Russian sculptor, just to express my thoughts as to how good the piece looked. At the time the sculptor mentioned they had sculpted two portraits from the outset (at the request of Sideshow). Her words to describe the two portraits were 'European' and 'Asian'. The reasoning behind creating two portraits was to give Sideshow a choice. As we know, given what was shown at a Con, Sideshow went with the European portrait first. Sadly Sideshow had a rethink after taking on board negative feedback. My guess is, if Sideshow had shown the Asian portrait first, the feedback would have been even more negative, and possibly Sideshow would have gone with the Asian portrait.
