Chronicles Collectibles , ok so here is my break out t- Rex , have to say it's pretty cool , but I actually sprayed it with satin clear which made the colors pop a bit more , as I expected and seen in other pictures , far from the Proto but nice overall , some bottom teeth are chipped and yes the dots do seem like just dabbed on and freckle looking , I do still think people will be happy with it for the price . Video soon

Remember this guy come flat , not shiny I would recommend you spray it with a satin clear like I did to make colors pop , even gloss if you want him to look wet which is what I plan to do to mine eventually ,

The satin finish looks pretty good. Don't know that I would want to go gloss. Yes, it was raining in the movie, but without some other cues to that in the dio, it might make the statue look cheap.

Is it not possible to use gloss in a spray bottle or would it just clog the nozzle?
Maybe watered down gloss sprayed for a rain effect?

I've used clear casting resin to simulate water drops.

Although that was on a different kind of figure

Satin finish looks good then maybe a spray of gloss on this back and the base for a wet look.

Looks like Chronicle are toning down the spots with a quick spray of black.

Water drops at this scale would be kind of difficult, but maybe thin streams of water running off the back and puddles on the ground. You need to go all in if you want to go the rain route. Just a glossy rex isn't going to cut it.
