Exactly. Let's face it, this is a niche character. There is virtually NO target audience for this character. Frankly I'm surprised he's being considered in ANY scale.
But with 1/8 you're really missing the boat because you miss....
A) People who bought Poison.
B) 1/4 completionists who'll buy him to complete the line
C) The small group of us that have begged for a 1/4.
So who is this marketed towards? All of the 1/8 fans clamoring for Hugo?
Don't get me wrong, if you solicit this I hope it'll sell like hot cakes. But if I were a guessing person I'd say it's not going to move many units.
Furthermore Jerry had said "The First Hugo"? Does that mean a second is in the works down the road? Will the tiny group of Hugo fans come back for multiple statues of him? Unlikely.
