I just watched the unboxing video and must say I am deeply impressed by Psylocke.
Betsy looks dangerous, mysterious, powerful and breathtaking just like in the comics and I for one think she turned out great!

Very good paint job, no doubt.
For those who see « asian vibes » in this portrait, I don’t know, try the asian movies to familiarize yourself how looks an asian lady in the real life. Because these portraits are supposed to be realistic, right? Personnaly, I meet in the street such a lady, the first thing I think is *: bad aesthetic surgery, and second: law pursuits against the surgeon.

* I don't think " Close encounter Of The Third Kind", because there are no aliens on Earth, everybody knows that.

I've been double posted too!!!! It's my first time. I don't know if I must be proud to be a part of the Double Posters Brotherhood, or if I should be scared. The fear of the Unknown...

Yep, that is what I said. Hoping for that. Fingers crossed.
But if they do Psylocke in an X-Force variant, then they will likely do X-23, Deadpool and Wolverine too.

Still so crushed by this piece. I love everything about it except that damn portrait.
I think they tried to make her look emotionless, but it almost looks painful, inhuman.
I think some of you guys are just so desperate to like it.

The Psylocke and Emma pieces throw me off with this line.
The Psylocke portrait is the big culprit. Followed my Emma's portraits.
I cant stand companies doing the blue, silver makeup. Yikes!
And then the too-busy hairstyles. The bob haircut should have been more controlled.
Still great pieces, but for $550+....nope.

Maybe you are desperate to hate it? Works both ways.

Oh, no. I am actually desperate to love it.
So I can relate, but not to the degree of others.

Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
I don't see what you are describing at all...painful? inhuman? (I do see this with the awful production pics but not the unboxing video)

Emotionless? I think she looks quite focused and intense.

And no I'm not "desperate to like it."

It's the eyelashes. I thought it was the light creating shadows at first, but is it possible they may have made her eyelashes thicker to make her eyes more level?

I swear the slant of her eyes is way less than before. It's very curious how her eyes look almost level now.
